[2023 Version] Manage employees on maternity leave

For employees on maternity leave, which lasts for several months, instead of the employees manually creating multiple leave requests, authorized accounts can set the maternity leave period for the employees. The system will automatically create the leave requests to help HR manage attendance and payroll data efficiently.
Specific steps:

 Company > List of employees > Icon image-1723696833364.png > Salary information > Edit > Status > Maternity leave > Enter the maternity leave period > Update.

Note:
  • After the authorized account sets the maternity leave period for an employee, the system will automatically create and approve leave requests for each day during the setup period.

  • The maternity leave status will also be updated in the employee's timesheet according to the automatically created leave requests.
  • Maternity period can not include the days that have passed, admin or authorized account can help employees create leave requests for passed days then setup their period started from the day after the setup day.
  • In case the maternity leave period needs to be EXTENDED: The authorized account can adjust the leave period on the Salary Information screen, just like when initially setting it up. The system will continue to create maternity leave requests for the newly extended period.
    In case the maternity leave period needs to be SHORTENED: The authorized account can adjust the leave period on the Salary Information screen in the same way as the initial setup. However, the employee must manually delete the automatically created leave requests that do not match the newly adjusted leave period.
